Schedule for Patients

Recreational Activities are allowed during this time. Patients are not allowed in the Recreational Square but are allowed to roam their ward.

Patients start to wake up, make their beds and tidy their rooms.

Patients can decide to have breakfast first or a shower first. They have their First Option (Shower/Breakfast) and then their Second Option (Breakfast/Shower). Breakfast can only be ate in their rooms.

If they finish early, they are allowed to relax in the Recreational Square until 10:00AM

Recreational Activities are allowed during this time. Patients are allowed to stay in their rooms or in the Recreational Square with staff and other patients.

Recreational Activites are allowed during this time. Patients may take a walk around the hospital and relax in the garden or go in their room and do their recreational activities there. Patients are not allowed to walk near the Therapy Rooms in their ward, and are not allowed to go to the Recreational Square.

Daily Therapist Check-in with Patients. Patients go to their Therapy Room and talk with their therapist for about 30 minutes or an hour.

Medical Check-in with patients with a MCIN (Medical Check-in Note) from their Doctor,

Patients can call their families during this time using the phone in their room.

Visiting Time (Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays only)

Recreational Square (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays only) Patients can also spend this time in the library or the study area, or their room.

Lunch/Dinner time for all patients. Lunch can be ate in their rooms, or the cafeteria.

Cooking/Art/Gaming/Gardening/Walking/Fitness/Reading/Dancing

Patients can wander around all the wards except from the Children’s ward.

Patients can wander around the Hospital freely.

Tea time for all patients. Tea can be ate in their rooms, or the cafeteria.

Quiet time in patient’s rooms.

Medication Time for all patients. A staff member goes to the patient’s rooms, gives them their medication and ensures the patient takes it.

Failure to take medication may result in less recreation time for patients

Patients choose which one they have upon admission

Patients being discharged on the day are discharged during this time

Patients are allowed to roam around the hospital if they wish, or stay in their rooms. Requests by patients can be taken at this time for the Hospital Manager.

Extra food (Supper) given to patients.

Snacks are avaliable upon request throughout the day.

Art/Gaming/Reading

Patients can decide to sleep after 8PM

Staff talks with patients e.g.

Patients go to sleep and are not allowed to leave their rooms.
